The current record stood at 88 hours which George Papapetrou, a.k.a DJ Gee Papa, claims to have broken before when he played non-stop for 105 hours at Limassol's Nautical Club last year. However there was no representative from Guinness present to register it so he had to do it again.
The 34 year old was allowed a five minute break every hour and if he did not take the break then he could accumulate the minutes for later, which he did at one point so he could sleep for two hours.

Há um movimento entre os empresários dos principais núcleos de raves, em São Paulo, na tentativa de fortalecer o setor. Erick Dias, diretor da No Limits, empresa que possui participação na XXX e Tribe e é proprietária da rave Orbital, diz: “XXXperience, Tribe, Helvetia/Zenith, Kaballah e nós estamos conversando pra que muito em breve façamos uma espécie de associação dos produtores de festas de música eletrônica. Fazemos eventos profissionais; não podemos ser comparados aos que fazem festinhas sem a menor estrutura e segurança”. Para o delegado Carlos Andrade, especializado no combate a drogas sintéticas, a polícia não tem nada contra as festas.
